Sunday, November 9, 2014 October Favourites

October flown by so quickly and now it's already November which only means one thing, Christmas is drawing near! Here are some of the products which I've been loving a lot in October.

Tuesday, November 4, 2014 Recent Make Up Haul

On days when Luxola is having a sale, I knew it would be the right opportunity to pick up some new beauty items even when I don't need them. Well, a girl can never have enough make up right?

Friday, October 31, 2014 October's Bellabox Review

Bellabox turns 3 this October and here's their B-day blowout bellabox, packaged in a bright turquoise box with white polka dots printed on it. Bellabox is a monthly beauty subscription service. The box consists of 4 to 5 deluxe samples from high end brands, boutique and cult brands all over the world. Most of the time, they do throw in a few more bonus products and that's always a good thing right?

Tuesday, September 16, 2014 Benefit's Pimping With The Stars Kit

I received the Benefit's Pimping With The Stars Kit as my birthday present from my cousin last month. For the longest time, I have always wanted to try out Benefit's They're Real! mascara and The Porefessional. Thought this kit would be good for me to try out before purchasing the full sized product.

Sunday, September 22, 2013 Beauty Haul

Gosh, this week has been extremely busy and the coming week too - bet it's gonna be insane! Doubling my workload for the coming week as Infinite Pixie will be closed from 30th Sept to 2nd October for a short break. I usually don't do short breaks unless I'm leaving Singapore for a work trip but this time, I'll be taking a few days off from work to accompany the boyfriend and spend as much time together before he leaves Singapore for almost a month. The thought of it just dampens my mood :(

Today, I'll be blogging about some of the beauty products I've purchased from Luxola.

Sigma's Limited Edition Resort Palette

Been eyeing on this palette for months but it consist of 3 bright colours that I'd usually avoid which is the reason why it stopped me from purchasing at first. Contemplated for months and watched numerous YouTube videos on the Resort Palette's tutorial before purchasing.

This year, my goal was to say "Yes" to more things. Therefore, I'll learn how to apply those vibrant coloured eye shadows without looking like a fool. Haha, I'll try though! *crosses fingers*

This palette is perfect for staycation or holidays because it consist of 8 eye shadows, 1 blush, 1 highlighter and 1 dual-ended eye liner pencil in Blue (Daydream) / Brown (Earth Goddess) as seen in the picture above.

Sigma's Blending Brush

Sigma's Eye Shading Brush

Am super picky about brushes and I'll only use or purchase them if I genuinely like its texture. Was given a Sigma's sample brush when I first purchased from Luxola and I really like theirs! Thus, purchased 2 brushes for applying eye shadows and I hope it will not disappoint :)

I don't own a lot of brushes as I said, I'm super picky about brushes. On top of that, my make up is pretty minimal. Thus, not a lot of brushes are required for my case.

Sleek's Blush (Life's A Peach)

My first purchase from Sleek was Rose Gold (as seen on the left) and after Luxola updated me via email saying that 'Life's A Peach' has been restocked, I have to get it! Used it immediately on the next day and it's a natural blush colour. Sleek's blush is very pigmented so all's good! :)

Products are purchased with my own money and all opinions are 100% honest from me

My dresser post is still not up yet because I'm still not sure if I would like to film it into a video or updating them in pictures. So it's pending at the moment alright? I'll also be doing a room tour soon, once the full decoration of my room is completed. Because I still have a wall that's empty.

Hope you've enjoyed this post and here's a sneak video of what I was up to on Saturday night ;)

Wednesday, September 11, 2013 Stylenanda Goodies

My Stylenanda goodies are finally here!
Took a little more time to edit the photos and hope you like the final outcome :)

Peach Marble Highlighter: Click here to purchase

Been searching high and low for a nice highlighter and chanced upon one!
Really love the marble effect and hope it's good, can't wait to try! :)

Nail remover tissue was given to me as a free gift!

I can't seem to find the hot pink nail polish in the site anymore, it most probably should be OOS? But on the right... oh my. I'm lovin' this shade of blue! Click here to purchase.

Here are the rest of their nail polish (http://en.stylenanda.com/products/Nail/ASAD0000/?url=Category) and all the shades are so pretty! The packaging of the nail polishes kinda reminds me of Butter London ones. What do you think? :)

Ordered face mists too but they aren't delivered to me yet but overall, I'm pleased with the products I've received :)

Friday, August 16, 2013 Pampered Girl

Hello everybody! ☼

Here's what I wore yesterday for some pampering session and to be honest, I wanted to wear this dress to the beach someday but it's too pretty to be kept in my wardrobe!! The crochet details are made with good quality and material is thin so I was able to put up with the heat in this outfit. Definitely a plus point! If you realize, the dress is a little short on me so I wore a pair of white shorts underneath for extra protection.

White Embroidery Laser Cut Dress - SGD$26.50

Headed over to The Arcade (Nearest MRT: Raffles Place) for a manicure & pedicure session! I've forgotten to take a picture of the shop but it's located at the 3rd Storey.

Here's a picture of my horrible nails :(

Gorgeous mommy dropped by to deliver my lunch (Because I didn't had time to eat) - Chicken Pie from Polar and a cup of Honey Dew fruit juice! Thank you ♡

Not very nicely decorated nail salon to be honest but the shop owners take their job seriously which is the most important factor in my opinion.

The lady in the photo did a classic pedicure for me and she was very patient throughout the whole process. Despite the fact that she have not had her lunch, she continued to be patient and finished up her work before going off for her lunch break.

The lady boss - Ki Ki did manicure for me and each time she's concentrating, for instant, painting a straight line on my nail, my hands will start to shake a little from time to time due to the intense stress (Do you get that too or if it's just me?) but thanks to her stable hands, everything's fine! The whole process was enjoyable that I had a little snooze in between haha.

Here's the end product and I love 'em!! :)

As it matches with my skirt that I'm planning to wear on Sat!

Went over to Corner Hair Salon at Republic Plaza next for a hair treatment and told my hair stylist (Sofia) that my hair have been dropping a lot recently so she checked my scalp to find out that it is sensitive due to the wrong shampoo usage! Goodbye Pantene :(

On top of that, I found out that my roots are pretty weak and the weight of my hair is too much for the pores to handle which explains the situation here. Therefore, Sofia had to cut away 4 inches of my hair. Quite heartbroken but for my hair, I'll heed her advice.

After 4 hours of treatment and haircut....

I went home with super soft hair and my head definitely feels much lighter. Beginning to love my hair even more now!

So soft to the extend that I can't stop touching my hair!

Corner Hair Salon
Republic Plaza, #B1-03, 9 Raffles Place, Singapore 048619
Operating Hours : 7.30am – 8pm (Mon to Fri) 10am – 5pm (Sat)
Tel: 64385363 / 6438 5324

Also, my mom has a shop inside Corner Hair Salon under Republic Plaza outlet and she provides services such as Eyebrow Trimming, Waxing, IPL Treatment, Make Up Services etc... Didn't had time to do my monthly IPL treatment so I'll drop by her shop next week and blog about it :)

The weekends are here, finally! Many more hours to go before meeting lé boy for dinner tonight and hoping that this weekend will be an unforgettable experience ♡

Services are paid with my own money and all opinions are 100% honest from me

Wednesday, August 14, 2013 Luxola

Yesterday afternoon, I was googling "Sleek Make Up Singapore" and Luxola appeared between the first few links. You have no idea how happy I was because I found some of the items that i've been wanting for months!

Free delivery so long your order amounts to SGD$10 in a single order which is easy to hit! ;)

Sleek Blush (Rose Gold) - SGD$14.00

With fantastic colours that finish beautifully across a variety of skin tones and serious value for money (the highly pigmented colours mean you can use a light hand when applying) its hard to find a flaw with any of the gorgeous blushes from Sleek

Cannot wait to put this on, on coming Saturday for my birthday dinner with friends!
Also, tried and tested. The colours are very pigmented.

Tangle Teezer - SGD$26.90

A multi-awarding hairbrush, much-loved by you and beauty editors for fabulous styling. An innovative hairbrush that is just too busy being fabulous! Cute in size and big on style, it can be popped into your bag and pulled out in a New York minute to reboot hair in seconds.

Featuring patented, uniquely designed teeth which flex and flick as they glide through the hair, Tangle Teezer eliminates tangles and knots on contact and minimizes breakage, damage and splitting often caused by tugging and pulling on the hair shaft.

This is the product that i've been searching for the longest time!

My hair has been dropping a lot recently either because my hair is too long or maybe i am using the wrong shampoo. Whatever it is, I am really upset because my hair used to be really thick. Also, you know how a normal comb would always get your hair tangled while combing and some stands of hair will also be stuck between the bristles? Well, this doesn't or at least not as much as compared to a normal comb. Lastly, it's in my favourite colour - Hot Pink!

To sum it up, I love the items i've bought and can't wait for Luxola to restock some of my other favourite items (Which is currently out of stock now). So glad I found this gem and here am I sharing this gem with ya'll :)

Thursday, July 11, 2013 June Favourites

1. Vaseline's Aloe Vera Hydrating Body Lotion

Remember those small Hello Kitty figurines that 7-11 were selling last month or so? Yeah, I needed to spend SGD$4 more before collecting my first figurine and decided to get something useful than... food. So this was what i got and have been using it every night!

I am sure you will be able to get this product in Guardian / Watsons.

It's definitely moisturizing and doesn't feel sticky on your body after applying. Whats more, it smells nice! Now, that's a plus point. You NEED to get a moisturizing body lotion especially if you're sleeping in air conditioned room frequently. Nobody likes dry skin!

Tip: Place a small cup of water if your sleeping in an air conditioned room

2. Maybelline's Hyper Sharp Liner

This is me purchasing the same eyeliner for the second time because it is that good. It is sharp which is good because you can be more precise when it comes to drawing your eyes. This has got to be my favourite eyeliner. What's your favourite? :)

Available in Watsons / Mustafa.

3. O.P.I Hand & Nail Cream

To be honest, I bought this product because i just "needed" to buy something. Don't you girls get that too? Tell me i am not alone! Haha. So anyway, didn't have much expectation about this product but i am pretty surprised after using it for a few times. Not sure if this is the best hand cream but it definitely get its job done by keeping my hand moisturized and soft and it smells nice too!

Available in O.P.I (Bought from Smoochiezz booth)

4. Dainty Silver Rings

I am loving simple silver rings at the moment and these are my favourites out of my whole rings collection. The top one is from Marc By Marc Jacobs and the bottom one is from my online store - www.infinitepixie.com

5. Simple Black Watch

I've been wearing bulky watches for a long time but at the end of the day, i still love small petite watches as i thought it fits my small wrist better! If you are looking for one, you can visit http://www.nakedglory.com/ for more designs.

6. Candles

Candles are so addictive, for me at least. I love candles from Yankee Candles and Bath & Body works. Hard to get in Singapore and they are both pretty pricey. The candle above is from Ikea and theirs are really reasonable.

Ikea candles start from SGD$4.90 but out of all, i only love 2 scents from their candles range. This is one of them and I LOVE IT - very sweet scent! Even my boyfriend likes it too.

So my daily night routine after work will be ... shower > light up my candle > relax on my bed and watch youtube videos :)

So this is it!

If you are interested in any of the products, you know where to purchase them now ;)
